Functions in the Cricketers Room

Our function room is situated overlooking the new Beer garden and the MCC* cricket pitch at the back of the inn. It is a quiet room recently rebuilt and refurbished using traditional materials thus retaining the ambience of a 15th Century Inn. Set aside from the main building as an independent suite, we can guarantee your privacy. It is large enough to accommodate up to 50 attendees in any format.

Our attractive function room is ideal for Birthdays, Christmas Parties, Weddings, Christenings & Family gatherings. We can offer food ranging from a finger buffet up to a sit down dinner, depending on the occasion and your budget. Please do call us on 01235 811311 to check availability

When unused as a function room the Cricketers doubles as a play area for children and is often used to display live sport on the wall-mounted wide screen television. There is a FREE wireless LAN provided in the Cricketers function room and throughout the pub so feel free to switch on your laptop at any time for free access to the internet.

The Cricketers function room is currently the showroom for some of our larger antiques including dressers, wooden settles, wine racks and old pine kitchen furniture. These additions give the Cricketers function room a lovely atmosphere in which to conduct a relaxed business chat. If there is a item you particularly like, just ask and we'll sell it to you!
