Hi Tim,

The local VX220 owners are considering venues for a local meet on Wednesday 20th January from about 7.30pm. Would you have any objection if I put The Bear forward as the venue? It is just a chance for us to meet up socially, peer at cars and chat. No boy racer driving through the village! I have checked and you don't have any events booked in for that date. It is very difficult to assess how many might turn up but my best guess is about 10 cars and maybe 12-15 people. If it looks like it's going to be any bigger than that I can keep you updated on numbers.
Please let me know of any issues as soon as possible. The earlier we start promoting through our website/forum the better.

Regards

Richard

Hi TIm

Thanks again for being part of our wonderful cricket weekend. Everything was fantastic....apart from the result of course :-)

We are already looking forward to 2011

OXCCARTS (your local community charity) is holding a committee meeting with Network Rail at Fulscot Bridge at 11.30am this Thursday 9th February. Tim, you alone will probably welcome their planned closure of the Fulscot Road next year, for three to five months over Christmas. Would you like to come and join us there?

After we have collected up our snapped-off ears, fingertips and toes, I estimate 8 to 10 survivors will continue the meeting at The Bear; thank you for giving us a room.

I expect people will probably want hot coffee, mulled wine etc. on arrival. I will ask them to phone and book their advance orders before 11.30, and then I will phone or text the Bear as we are actually leaving Fulscot, so you know you can start pouring. I hope we will arrive shortly before noon, and the committee will continue ASAP and by 12.15 at the latest.

Personally, please can I order a cup of mulled wine on arrival (and probably a Bearburger when we close about 1.30pm, but we'll see about that)
Oh yes, and please join OXCCARTS, Tim!

Hi Tim

Hope all is well

Contacting you as I'm afraid that this year I have been unable to raise a team and so we won't be able to make our annual cricket match on 27 August

I have emailed MCC but in case for any reason they don't get the message could you pass the news on please
