THE BEAR is voted Pub of the Year (again!) for CAMRA South Oxon region !!

(best of 135 pubs)

Don't forget the 130 bus runs 11:43pm to Didcot & 00:08 to Wallingford on Friday & Saturday nights- give it a go !

timandaliTim and Ali welcome you to the friendliest family pub in South Oxfordshire. The Bear at Home Inn at North Moreton is open for goodquality food, fine wines and real ale throughout the year. Low beamed ceilings, character fireplaces, nooks & crannies and a true Oxfordshire welcome await you here at this family run Freehouse.

Originally a quiet 15th century coaching inn, Tim and Ali have transformed this idyllic pub into a fun and 'happening' place. You can be sure of a friendly and fun evening whether you wish to eat or just relax with a drink or two. You will find the young and the old mixing together in an atmosphere that will encourage you to return.

Our menu is made of FRESH ingredients so what you see will vary according to the day of the week you come in. For example, our fish is delivered from Cornwall on Friday so if you want a selection of good fish dishes, please book a table for Friday or Saturday.

GBG_Rosette_2009Our beer is kept well and we always have four guest ales on tap. The Bear at Home was voted CAMRA Pub of the Year 2007 for the whole of Oxfordshire and we have had an entry in the CAMRA good beer guide for the last 3 years; which we are justly proud of. We aim to provide sustenance to all our customers, whether you drink fine wine, good port, continental lagers or real ale.
